The #ColourPop Bronze Stix formula is “super buildable” and “blendable,” and it won’t disturb your makeup underneath. It has a lightweight and creamy texture that applies seamlessly over bare skin or foundation. It blends easily without lifting up base products, and both fingertips and synthetic brushes work well with it.
The pigmentation is medium to semi-opaque and buildable, and the formula has a natural tendency to sheer out, so layering is needed for fuller coverage. It dries down slightly but doesn’t feel tacky. The lasting power is impressive, with all six shades lasting between eight and nine hours before fading. However, the shade range could be expanded.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to be “super buildable” and “blendable” that won’t disturb “your makeup underneath.” It is also supposed to have a “natural-looking matte finish.”
The texture was lightweight, creamy without being too heavy or too emollient, which enabled the product to apply well over bare skin or on top of foundation. It glided evenly over skin and blended out easily without lifting up base products. I had no trouble using fingertips or a synthetic brush with any of the shades I tested.
The pigmentation was medium to semi-opaque and buildable; due to the emollient consistency, it had a natural tendency to sheer out, so it definitely had to be layered to achieve fuller coverage (as marketed). The formula dried down someone, but it was never fully dry yet didn’t seem tacky to the touch.
All six shades lasted between eight and nine hours on me before showing signs of fading. The shade range could be better, though.
