Review Of The Jones Road Mascara
Let’s talk about the performance of Jones Road Mascara. It’s safe to say that it lives up to its claims. The mascara provides the following:

And this is all without clumping or smudging, which are my number 1 irritations in mascara.
Pigmentation
When you’re aiming for a more dramatic look, Jones Road mascara has you covered. With its buildable formula, you can easily achieve the desired volume by layering the product. In the photos above, I’m wearing three coats the last coat being a thin layer compared with the two coats before.
The mascara is black, so it colors the lashes properly – in my opinion, it adds that extra touch to the mascara, which is really like.
Formula
What sets this mascara apart from the rest is its effortless and smooth application. The product glides on evenly, providing even coverage and definition to each lash.
There’s also barely any clumping, which is a sigh of relief for those who struggle with traditional mascaras that can leave one’s lashes clumped together and looking messy.
One of the most noticeable benefits of using Jones Road mascara is its added volume and length. With a few swipes, my lashes looked fuller and longer without falsies or too many coats.
The mascara may need a little longer drying time than other mascaras I have in my collection, but I don’t see this as a problem. It’s not that if I move too quickly, the mascara gets smudged everywhere, so as long as this is ok, I don’t mind!
The mascara dries down, obviously, but not to the point where it gets too dry and crumbles off. Even though it stays easily in place, the formula is easy to remove at the end of the day. This means no rubbing and damaging your lashes!
Application
One of the standout features of this mascara is its moon-shaped brush. This unique design helps to:

In my experience, the brush design played a significant role in delivering excellent results. Especially to curl the lashes without a curler and to prevent clumping.
The only thing that I’m assuming is that because the brush is quite big, it’ll make application harder for people with small eyes. You have to apply carefully, especially around the inner corner.
I don’t have the biggest eyes, but the brush size didn’t bother me. If you apply carefully and be aware of the shape and how far you can go to the root of your lashes, it doesn’t have to be a problem at all!
Longevity
I was pleasantly surprised by the long-lasting wear of the mascara, as it stayed put throughout the entire day without flaking or smudging. This fantastic wearability makes it perfect for those long days at work or special events when we need our makeup to stay put all day, and it also saves us the time of having to reapply.
I don’t believe this is marketed as waterproof, but I noticed that it is quite water-resistant. I wore this mascara on days when I was sweating a lot and in very warm, humid weather (which we’re not used to here in The Netherlands), and this mascara stayed put all day long.
Value
While Jones Road Mascara isn’t the cheapest option out there, it’s certainly not the most expensive either. Priced at $26, it falls within the mid-range category.
Considering its high-quality formula and unique brush design, I find the price to be very reasonable. The price would not hold me back in any way from repurchasing this mascara!

This mascara is for everyone who loves long, volumized lashes. However, if you have small eyes, the brush might be a little too big and dense for you to apply easily.
It is also perfect for those with sensitive eyes, as it’s ophthalmologist-tested and gentle on the eyes. The formula prevents smudging and flaking, keeping your eyes comfortable throughout the day.
Do I Recommend The Mascara
Absolutely yes! I personally really like clean products (that don’t contain any harmful ingredients), and if they work amazingly, too, I’m not letting go of them.
The only bummer is that Jones Road isn’t available worldwide (yet?). Otherwise, I would’ve recommended this to all my friends and family. So Bobbi, if you happen to see this, please bring Jones Road to Europe!
