The Rock On ColourPop Rock On 9-Pan Pressed Powder Palette is a limited edition eyeshadow palette that retails for $14.00. This palette features neutral shades with a warmer, reddish undertone. While it may not bring anything new to the brand, the variation in tones and finishes is quite interesting. It’s worth noting that this palette was the only new release from ColourPop for the entire month of August.
The Vortex shade in this palette is a bright, very pale gold with warm, peachy undertones and a metallic finish. It has excellent pigmentation and a slightly loose-pressed feel. The formula is lightly emollient and easily picked up with a dry brush. It blends out well and lasts for about 8 hours before fading. Some similar shades include ColourPop Refill, Pat McGrath Skintense Glow, and ColourPop Baked Goods.
Chasing Sunsets is another shade in this palette with opaque pigmentation and a loosely-pressed consistency. It’s a light yellowy peach with warm undertones and a sparkly matte finish.
