[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] As an expert product reviewer, I can confidently recommend the REN Evercalm range. It’s one of my top recommendations among friends and family because of its exceptional ability to hydrate, soothe, and calm the skin. In fact, I struggle to think of any other product that can match its effectiveness, except for MURAD’s Quick Relief Moisture Cream.

I believe that the REN Evercalm range is more suited for the winter season rather than the summer. So, the release of the body balm at this time is perfect. It provides much-needed hydration after the summer and helps in combating the changes in temperature.

#RENEvercalmBarrierSupportBodyBalm comes in a balm to oil formula. It’s not just ideal for nourishing dry elbows, a common beauty concern in the past. This body balm can provide attention to dry patches all over the body.

The ingredients in this body balm are truly wonderful. In addition to REN’s Barrier Support Complex, it also contains camellia japonica and safflower ceramides. The fragrance is described as hypoallergenic and has an earthy floral scent that is very light.

This product provides an Omega-rich boost, acting as both a hydrator and a barrier for the skin. Personally, I would not apply it all over my body every day. I would reserve it for days when I have flaky legs, experience tightness from sun exposure, or after showers and baths when extra care is needed.

Although it’s priced at £35 for 90ml, which may be a bit steep for everyday use, a little goes a long way since it transforms into an oil when applied to the skin. It’s definitely a luxurious treat for the skin. I usually use products right away, but this one makes me want to savor it over time.

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’m a big fan of the REN Evercalm range – it’s one of my most recommended products amongst friends and family (and on here!) because it’s got the ability to hydrate, soothe and calm the skin better than just about any other product I can think of (MURAD’s Quick Relief Moisture Cream is on a par). To my mind, it’s more of a winter product than a summer one so the timing of the release of the body balm is good – post summer skin and temperature change hydration in one.

REN Evercalm Barrier Support Body Balm

Do you remember that time in beauty that we were all obsessed with nourishing our dry elbows? I just seem to remember a lot of flagging up of dry elbows that feels fairly irrelevant now – I cannot remember a time where I’ve worried about my elbows in recent years! However, REN Evercalm Barrier Support Body Balm would be that product that gives that extra duty attention to dry patches as well as the whole body. It’s a balm to oil formula, ideal for dry shins actually because you’ll get a gorgeous gleam on your pins.

REN Evercalm Barrier Support Body Balm

Ingredients are lovely – alongside REN’s Barrier Support Complex, additionals are camellia japonica and safflower ceramides.  REN Evercalm Barrier Support Body Balm has a fragrance, billed as hypoallergenic, that I would describe as earthy floral (and very light). You’re going get an Omega rich boost to act as both hydrator and barrier. Personally, I wouldn’t be slathering this liberally over my body every day – I’d save it for flaky leg days, post sun tightness and post shower or bath times when extra, extra care is needed. It’s £35 for 90ml – a little goes a long way bearing in mind it turns into an oil on the skin but still probably out of my price range for every day. It’s every inch the treat and although I have said I won’t ‘save’ products but use them straight away, my inner hoarder wants to eke it out over time :-). You can find it HERE.
